7.X MW -8.X MW platform wind turbine products are designed applicable to wide wind and environmental conditions. Cooperating with DNV, the platform adopted SANY’s latest component technology. It supports rotors size ranging from 180 to 200+ meters, and the power rates cover up to 8.X MW.
This Wind Turbine is designed based on redundancy design, margin design, and environmental adaptability design. These designs are verified using computer simulations.
The transformer up-tower solution saves cabling costs compared to conventional outside transformer solution and construction of container foundation is not needed. This helps reduce land acquisition costs and effectively decrease line loss, shortening the construction period, thus reducing the total cost of wind farm.
